JASER D'ART (Talking about art)

2015-2017
Discussions in public spaces
Sculpture furniture (russian burch, hardware, hand truck, artist book, tea). Ink-jet print on acid-free paper.

I set up the two chairs and we sit down. My guest expresses some thoughts, while I serve tea. The conversation begins. Jaser d’art is a relational art project in which I meet with students, artists, professors, critics, collectors, workers and passers-by, to talk about their relationship with art.

To converse with me, write to anouk.verviers@gmail.com

Dealing with notions of spectatorship, responsability and autonomy, the conversations took place in public spaces transformed by the modular furniture.

The project was produced with Dare-Dare (Montreal CA)
The project was exhibited at the Art Mûr Gallery (Montreal CA)
and at the Saint-Lambert Contemporary Art Fair (Saint-Lambert CA)
